So if the current verson of MP does have a default Garmin shortcut I think its just a case of making sure the file paths match, either by creating the folders with the name that match the path defined by the shortcut icon or editing the existing shortcut to match the path/location of the Garmin *exe file. The Explorer Greg: I am trying to install Garmin on my Mio C520 and am having trouble. I found your instructions to Fred 4X4 but I need additional clarification. Here is what I have done. On my SD card, I have mio pocket lite and Garmin. I installed Mio pocket lite with no problem (running off the Sd card). When I click on the Garmin shortcut, nothing happens. I believe I am not setting up the navigation applications properly.

Following your instruction to Fred 4X4, I opened the MioAutorun/scripts--then found the file Variable Navigation.mscr and opened it with notepad. Under the 'Set up Navigation Applications', the info listed is exactly the same as what you had told Fred 4X4--for all the GPS applications. I expected it to be different. So what am I doing wrong? I am obviously not connecting the shortcut to the application but remain confused as to what to do. Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
