Gta 4 Rgsc.exe Cannot Start
Gmod Npc Camera Tool. I purchased GTA V for PC a few weeks ago through Steam, played it, enjoyed it thoroughly, done all the missions, but am not yet 100% complete (I've got some random things to complete apparently). I then purchased GTA IV for PC (disc copy from my local games store). I am getting the same error message, and the game JUST WON'T START.
Yes, I have joined Rockstar Games Social Club. Yes, I opened up RGSC and looked at my profile, and it's me there, recognising my pathetic efforts at GTA V. I leave it open in the background as instructed, but GTA IV will not run, I still get this error message. Can anyone help me? What am I doing wrong? I just spent an hour installing this and Episodes from Liberty City, hoping to get some game time in today, but all I get is frustration. I don't own an Xbox, and yet I am forced to sign up for Games for Windows Live.
Salut, fratele meu a instalat recent GTA IV si nu stiu sigur cum, da aceasta eroare cand intra. Imi deschide o consola vreo 4 sec., apoi apare: Grand The.
I tried to do that, and it insists that I am an Xbox user. I downloaded Games for Windows LIVE client, clicked on 'create Account' and it just sits there telling me it's loading. I tried linking to this account in RGSC.WHAT THE HELL DO I NEED TO DO TO PLAY GTA IV? Is it something to do with a hard copy of GTA IV and a Steam copy of GTA V? Is it because I don't own an Xbox? I couldn't figure out how to tell RGSC that I have also purchased GTA IV. Any help at all will be gratefully received.
I am still getting this error message, and nothing at all is happening. I clicked on the link helpfully provided above, and re-installed RGSC, re-installed Games for Windows Live, linked my GFWS account with the RGSC account, left it open in the background, and still get the same message. As I mentioned earlier, I installed Episodes from Liberty City immediately after installing GTA IV without playing it. Could this be the problem? I'm at my wit's end (a very short journey indeed), and could use a little help. Anyone got any ideas? Hmm, I did get GTA V (PC) on Steam, and that's when I created a profile on RGSC.
After playing GTA V (PC), I purchased GTA IV plus Episodes from Liberty City (disc version). Kevin 3014 helpfully provided a link to RGSC, which I can only assume is the latest version. I clicked on that link and downloaded (and I suppose overwrote) the existing version of RGSC. I re-entered my details, and checked that I had a profile on Games for Windows LIVE. I linked those two together, but still nothing.
I am reluctant to uninstall GTA V as I haven't completely finished it, and it was a Steam version, so I don't have the discs for re-installation. But, if that's what it takes.to completely uninstall GTA V, and RGSC and GFWL, then restart the whole process with a fresh install of GTA IV.I suppose that will be my next action.
I don't think RGSC 'overwrites' version V over version IV, as both games are profiled on the Social Club page, at this stage it indicates I only have V, and it doesn't recognise that I have IV as well. Does anyone else have any helpful ideas in case that doesn't work for me? Well, I uninstalled GTA V, GTA IV, EFLC, GFWL, RGSC and finally it worked. But it refuses to allow me to run it at full screen, saying I am at the limits of my computer. I successfully run GTA V at maximum settings with a 60FPS rate (1920 x 1080). The helpful settings tell me I'm using 210 out of 3007 MB, and yet it won't let me drive it anything other than 800 x 600 (60Hz).
