Is there a way to have MediaMonkey save the playlists on the device as.pla files? I am using: Sony Walkman NWZ-E354 Windows 7 Pro 64bit MediaMonkey 4.1.0.1651 (beta) I have set the Sony so that Windows recognizes it as WALKMAN (H:). I have configured the Sony in MediaMonkey with the d_USBMass1.dll plugin.
I am able to send music files to the Sony and play them back on the device when it is disconnected from the computer. Using a testplaylist with a single song, I configured the Sony as follows: WALKMAN--Options--Auto-Conversion--Set Formats----Content--Playlist--PLA WALKMAN--Options--Playlists-- Sync playlists Library Playlists Destination directory: Playlists WALKMAN-Options--Playlists Auto-Sync(-->Device) Playlists testplaylist Then I auto-sync to the device. In the MediaMonkey tree, I can see the testplaylist in the WALKMAN's Playlist folder, and when I select testplaylist, it shows the music file that is expected. In Windows, Computer, under the WALKMAN (H:) I see the Playlist folder, which contains the testplaylist, but it is saved as a.m3u file. When I disconnect the Sony from the computer and look in the Playlists folder on the device, I don't see the testplaylist file.
