Configuration Registry Database Is Corrupt Vista
Aug 23, 2016 Hi, after replacing a failed hard drive in a RAID array, it appears that some files in my COMPONENTS hive have gotten corrupted. Sfc /scannow and dism.
Symantec File Connect Serial Number. Acer E1-571: Windows 8.1, 2.4 GHz Intel i3, 8 GB ram, Intel HD 4000 So I recently recovered my computer from corrupt display drivers by booting into safe mode and uninstalling the bad drivers. So Windows is working good as ever except the fact that I have no official drivers installed. So I downloaded the latest drivers from the Intel website and when I try to install the drivers from Device Manager it gives me an error saying the 'configuration registry database' is corrupt. I tried running the installer from safe mode and even tried older drivers to no avail. I also backed up my registry and ran Ccleaner on it.
Is there anything else I can do? I sadly don't have any restore points for it. Thanks in advance.
